End of the School Year Reflection

Spending some time reflecting on the school year is important.  Kids learn how to bring closure while reflecting on their experiences and accomplishments.  When a student has a chance to discuss and pull together all their successes and growth they develop a sense of pride in their hard work and commitment.

I have created this printable packet for teachers or parents to use to help students reflect on their memories and accomplishments from the school year. You can purchase the School Year Reflections & Memories Think Book from my TPT store.  To download a free sample of the School Year Reflections & Memories Think Book please visit my TPT store here.

Who Am I?, What Am I?, Who Was I? & What Am I Doing? Game

Do you remember the 20 questions game of What am I?  At a party recently we had a blast playing the Headbandz game.  A few days later, I was excited to go purchase the game however I could not stop brainstorming other ways the game could be used.   I decided my family needed to make it’s own version.

When planning the game, I thought it would be great for the kids to create categories of interest. We took blank cards and put various stickers from each category.  If was fun and simple to make our own version using blank cards and stickers.  It makes a fun dinner time game and travel game.

Here’s the list of categories we came up. Involving the kids in the creativity was just as much fun as playing!  You can come up with a list of sample questions to help kids or you can purchase our sample questions from Teachers Pay Teachers.
